TIME WARP

This project was for my Advanced Printmaking Class class. I made 17 prints in order to do a portfolio exchange with my classmates. It was exhibit at the 840 Gallery at DAAP.

Prompt: “Más Peruano que la Quinua” means: More Peruvian than Quinoa. This is a common phrase that transmits redundancy of any Peruvian heritage. I chose the phrase and the drawing of a typical “cholita”, in order to show part of my childhood living in the Peruvian mountain, which involves traditional dance and food of the region.

Materials: Stone age black paper, white ink, watercolors.

Size: 11''x 11''
